NIELIT sets up career centre

National institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) here has established a Model Career Centre in association with Directorate General of Employment and Training .

A press release from the institution said the DGET, which functions under the Union Ministry of Labour and Employment, is setting up Model Career Centres across the country under the National Career Schemes.

The career centres will connect local youth and other job-seekers with all possible job opportunities in a transparent manner. The state-of-the-art technology-driven National Career Service Portal will provide information about available job opportunities and resources for career centres to function effectively.
