More amenities at Social Justice Complex

: Minister for Panchayats and Social Justice M.K. Muneer, on Monday inaugurated the three renovated buildings in the Social Justice Complex at Vellimadukunnu..

The buildings were renovated at a cost of Rs. 4.55 crore, including an old-age home, after-care home and girl’s home. A sum of Rs. 3 crore was spent on the renovation of the Children’s home with more facilities.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Muneer said the renovated buildings would provide more amenities for members who were accommodated at the complex.

“At the administrative level, the government is committed to realising more such initiatives for the poor segments,” he said.

District Collector N. Prasanth presided over the function. District Social Justice Officer T.P. Saramma, District Probation Officer Ashraf Kavil and officials from the Kerala Urban and Rural Financial Corporation were present.
