The coordination committee of Emergency detainers has condoled the death of Kuldip Nayar, senior journalist and human rights campaigner.
The committee recalled that Mr. Nayar had opened a convention held at the Ernakulam Town Hall on July 9, 2010 that had urged the government to declare all the Emergency detainees as political prisoners.
