The Koran Sunnath Society (KSS) will release a new book ‘Nombinte Yadharthyam’ (The Truth about Fasting) written by KSS vice president M. Abdul Jaleel at the KSS Centre here on May 22.
Singer V.M. Kutti will release the book handing over the first copy to journalist Jaffer Atholi.
New perspective
Addressing a press conference here, Mr. Jaleel, who authored the book, said it would give a new perspective on fasting.
Different way
“The book tries to treat the subject in a different way and challenging all conventional views and practices related to the concept of fasting,” he said.
KSS State president K.K. Sali Haji will chair the function. KSS general secretary Muthur Abobacker Moulavi will introduce the book.
