The three-day village exhibition, ‘Expo Twenty20’, which showcased latest trends in the world of science, technology and education, will draw to a close at Thottumukkam in Kozhikode district on Saturday. George M. Thomas, MLA, will open the valedictory session at St. Thomas Higher Secondary School, Thottumukkam.
According to the organisers, the expo, which was kicked off with the support of over 30 premier institutions including those from the government and cooperative sectors on Thursday, gave an opportunity to the locals and students to familiarise themselves with the recent advancements in the science and technology sectors.
They said it also helped a few students get financial aid for their treatment and education.
Financial aid
T. Rafeeq, a member of the organising committee, said the financial aid mobilised would be handed over to beneficiaries during the valedictory ceremony on Saturday. He said contributions made by some Non-Resident Keralites too would be added to the local aid.
