Week-long cultural events and an exhibition-cum-trade fair will be held at the Kozhikode beach from April 19 to mark the first anniversary of the second term of the Left Democratic Front government.

A release said on Sunday that there would be pavilions based on the themes ‘Ente Keralam’ and ‘Keralathe Ariyam’, food court, seminars, and display of modern technological tools, apart from an agricultural expo.

The departments of Tourism, Agriculture, Public Relations and Information, and Industries and Kudumbashree will set up stalls. They will showcase the work done by the government in the past one year. A meeting chaired by Minister for Public Works and Tourism P.A. Mohamed Riyas was held to review preparations for the celebrations.
