Contestants of the mono act (high school section) at the ongoing 55th State School Arts Festival here on Tuesday empathetically presented the plight of women and children facing attacks across the globe. They critically approached the visual media. The contestants were in control as they caught the attention of the viewers and the judges by mixing the appropriate amount of theatricals in an otherwise crisp art form.

It was a quick walk through some glaring realities.

Female infanticide, tragedies including the Peshawar massacre, and the mass killing of children by militants in other parts of the world too were reinterpreted in the current social setting of the country.

The contestants were in control as they caught the attention of viewers and judges by mixing the appropriate amount of theatricals in an otherwise crisp art form.
