: As part of the Onam celebrations of the District tourism Promotion Council (DTPC), the Kozhikode Municipal Corporation is organising various competitions for the residents associations within the Corporation limits.
There will be competitions in Oppana, Margam Kali, Nadan Pattu, Thiruvathirakkali, group dance and so on.
A screening will be held on August 24 in three zones- North, South and Central. The first and second prize winners in each category shall take part in the Corporation-level competitions to be held on August 29.
Prizes
The first prize will carry Rs.10,000 in cash while second prize will carry Rs.5,000 besides trophy and certificates. The third prize winners will get trophy and certificates.
Interested Residents Associations shall register ay the DTPC office at Mananchira by 5 p.m. on August 22.
