The Pre-VAIGA (Value Addition for Income Generation in Agriculture), a two-day
coffee-agriculture expo, organised by the Agriculture Department in association with the Wayanad Coffee Growers Association, will be held at the Krishna Gowder Hall, Puliyarmala, on Saturday and Sunday.
Agriculture Minister V.S. Sunil Kumar will inaugurate the programme, which is being organised in connection with the fourth edition of VAIGA, an international workshop and expo to be held in Thrissur from January 4 to January 8 .
Various programmes including seminars, exhibition and entrepreneurs meet will be held in connection with the expo.
The concluding ceremony will be inaugurated by Irrigation Minister K. Krishnan Kutty on Sunday, organisers said in a release here.
