President of Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) Ramesh Chennithala has been chosen for the first Kerala Gandhi Award instituted by K. Kelappan Smaraka Samithi in memory of the late freedom fighter K. Kelappan, otherwise known as Kerala Gandhi.
The award will be presented to Mr. Chennithala on Monday on the occasion of the 43 death anniversary of Kelappaji. SJ(D) leader M.P. Veerendrakumar will present the award at the function to be held at Town Hall. Former KPCC president K. Muraleedharan will present the citation.
