Adalat to have media centre

A media centre will function in connection with the Revenue adalat at the Malabar Christian College (MCC) ground here on Friday. The centre will function from 9 a.m.

Minister for Revenue Adoor Prakash will distribute Rs.1.53 crore, sanctioned from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Special counters have been set up for citizens to submit complaints at the adalat. Already, the district administration had considered 12,670 old and 405 new complaints. Nearly 9,958 applications were settled.

The space at Malabar Christian College ground, which was the main venue of the 55th Kerala State School Arts Festival, has been converted into different sections for Kozhikode, Vadakara, Koyilandy, and Thamarassery taluks and a separate stall for the Collectorate.

The total amount allocated to Kozhikode taluk is Rs.92,91,000; Vadakara taluk, Rs.12,50,000; Koyilandy taluk, Rs.23,97,500; and Thamarassery taluk, Rs.23,97,500.
