The Judicial First Class Magistrate Court III in Kozhikode granted permission on Monday to the special team investigating the case of use of cellphones in prison by some of the accused in the killing of the RMP leader T.P. Chandrasekharan to examine in detail the Facebook accounts of the accused.

Information collected Magistrate Titty George allowed the investigation team to collect information regarding the accounts from Facebook authorities. This was after the Kasaba Circle Inspector N. Biswas moved an application before the court.

The case was that the Facebook accounts of the remand prisoners had been updated while they were in prison.
