Naveen launches 22 projects

In an effort to take his government’s ‘Make in Odisha’ initiative to a new height, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launched 22 new projects through video conferencing from the capital city on Wednesday.

The projects involve total investment of ₹4,461.42 crore and are expected to create employment opportunities for 9,451 people.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Patnaik assured the companies of complete facilitation support from the State government. “These projects will usher in the next era of industrial growth in the State and will contribute towards the vision of an industrially prosperous State.”

Odisha has a vision of becoming one of the top three investment destinations in the country in terms of grounded investments, said the Chief Minister. “Towards achieving this vision, we have devised the ‘5T’ strategy in which transformation goals will be achieved through teamwork, transparency and technology enablers in a time-bound manner.”

The Chief Minister also released a coffee table book ‘Make in Odisha 2018’. Minister of State for Industries Divya Shankar Mishra and senior officials also spoke on the occasion.
