Mamata a coward: Kunal

November 25, 2014 10:57 am | Updated November 16, 2021 04:44 pm IST - KOLKATA:

In order to save herself, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was instructing her cadres to hit the streets, suspended MP of the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) Kunal Ghosh said here on Monday.

His comments came on a day when Ms. Banerjee took out a rally in the city to protest against the Centre. Mr. Ghosh was arrested for his alleged links with the multi-crore Saradha scam.

“She is a coward. I want a face-to-face [Central Bureau of Investigation] interrogation with her,” Mr. Ghosh said while being produced before a city court. He had made a similar demand in the past and had said she should be questioned by the CBI to probe her alleged links with the scam.
