Workshop for college students on free software

Free Software Foundation Tamil Nadu is organising a six-day industrial training workshop on various free software technologies.

The hands-on workshop is for college students and will be held at the Department of Computer Science, IIT-Madras from June 8-13.

Participants will get to learn several technologies that are in great demand in the software industry including Ruby on Rails and Meteor as well as animation software such as blender.

Resource persons will include experts from the industry and community. The fees for the camp is Rs. 3,700.
