On Saturday, she met the managing director of the channel and an argument broke out between them.

Complaint filed

Ms. Krishnan said she was assaulted. After she called the police control room, police personnel reached the office and she lodged a complaint.

“The managing director even threw my phone away. I had to ask for my salary as I was finding it difficult to even pay rent,” she said.
