The Tamil Nadu Chapter of IPS Association has condemned the recent incident of violence against police personnel on duty at Tis Hazari Court in Delhi.

In a statement issued here on Tuesday, the association said such incidents showed lack of respect for the role of law.

“The TNIPSA stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the men in khaki in Delhi police,” the association said.

Testing times

“In these testing times, we firmly remain on the path of law and urge the concerned to take action against the law-breakers without fear or favour,” it further said, adding that it was of the firm belief that the law of the land would prevail always and every time.
