The Tamilnadu Educational Trust scholarship has been increased by Rs. 1,000 for all courses from this year.
Applications are being invited from meritorious and economically backward students studying first year degree and PG courses in arts, science, medicine, engineering and PhD in the state. Earlier, the scholarship was Rs. 5000 for graduate courses, Rs. 5,500 for PG, Rs. 6000 for professional courses and Rs. 8000 for PhD courses.
Students can apply to The Honorary Secreatary, The Tamilnadu Educational Trust, Rani Seethai Hall, 6{+t}{+h}Floor, No. 603, Anna Salai, Chennai – 600 007 for application forms with a self-addressed envelope with a Rs. 10 postal stamp affixed. Applications will be issued till November 15.
