‘Tamil varsity to sign MoU with Harvard’

The Tamil University, Thanjavur, will soon sign a Memorandum of Understanding with tHarvard University for research collaboration, Minister for Tamil Official Language K. Pandiarajan told the Assembly on Wednesday.

Mr. Pandiarajan also said the Tamil varsity would conduct training programmes for Tamilians living in Myanmar and South Africa to read and write Tamil. A centre to teach sculpture making would be set up by the univeristy at Swamimalai and training classes would be conducted, he said.
