Sundaram Clayton Limited (SCL), part of the $8.5 billion TVS group, in a filing with the stock exchange said the company’s major plants in Chennai have declared non-working days from October 29 to November 2, due to business slowdown.
The firm’s Hosur plant has declared non-working days from October 29 to 31. SCL is a leading supplier of aluminium die castings to automotive and non-automotive sector.
