Stamp to honour efforts of hospital released

Apollo Hospitals pioneered check-ups

Governor Banwarilal Purohit on Monday released a postal stamp to acknowledge the efforts taken by Apollo Hospitals in encouraging preventive healthcare.

The commemorative stamp honoured the hospital for its efforts, a press release said.

‘Master Health Check’ was one of the initiatives in healthcare management launched by Apollo Hospitals that introduced preventive healthcare into India.

Prathap C. Reddy, executive chairman of Apollo Hospitals, was present. Among others, R. Anand, postmaster general, Chennai City; Preetha Reddy, vice chairperson; Suneeta Reedy, managing director of Apollo Hospitals, and Alok Ojha, Senior Superintendent of Post Offices were present.
