SSI dies in road accident

A special sub-inspector of police attached to St.Thomas Mount traffic wing was killed after a concrete mixer rammed his bike on Kathipara grade separator on Thursday.

Police identified the victim as K. Nataraj, 56. He was travelling from Nandambakkam to his house in Chrompet on his bike around 11 a.m. The concrete mixer rammed his two-wheeler from behind. He died on the spot. His body was recovered by the police and sent to Government General Hospital, Chrompet for post-mortem. Further investigations are on.
