Six hurt as bus rams tree

Six passengers were injured after a government bus, plying between Tiruvallur and Sriperumbudur, rammed a tree near Sengadu, on Wednesday evening. The bus was headed to Sriperumbudur with 50 passengers, the police said. When the bus was nearing Sengadu, the driver lost control when he tried to overtake another vehicle and the bus it rammed a tree.

The Sriperumbudur police have registered a case and are investigating.
