With over 200 stalls showcasing a wide variety of consumer items, the inaugural edition of the Chennai Shopping Festival 2011 promises to be a great place to shop. It is on at St. George School Grounds, Poonamallee High Road, till May 23. Goods such as air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators, imported furniture and LED television sets are on display.
According to a press release, national and international brands showcasing the latest in home electronics, kitchen appliance, garments and stationery are also on display. The stalls are offering summer discount, offers and freebies. The shopping festival is being sponsored by LG. Supported by Chellamani & Co. - the electronic sponsor and Celebrity Club, club partner. To quench the thirst and hunger of shoppers, an array of food courts are serving variety of food. The exhibition is open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends.
