Seminar on ‘Emerge MBA’

A free seminar ‘Emerge MBA’ will be held at SMK Fomra Institute of Technology in Kelambakkam on Wednesday. The seminar, organised by Institute of Public Enterprise, Hyderabad, will go on for two hours beginning at 11.30 a.m.

M.Karthik, program head — PGDM International Business, IPE, will address students on “Importance of Management Education in the Changing Global Scenario.”

Ushaa Eswaran, principal, SMK Fomra and Ganapathi Subramanian, head, human resources, Sundaram Finance will be the guest speakers. All final year degree students from engineering, science, commerce and arts and other streams can attend.

There will also be an interactive session. Experts from industry and academia will deliberate on career prospects. The Hindu is the media partner for the event.
