Members of the Swami Sankaradas Ani submitted a complaint with the election officer for the South Indian Artists Association (SIAA), seeking clarification about statements made by actor Vishal of Pandavar Ani about the election process.

“Mr. Vishal yesterday said that around 1,000 votes had been polled through postal ballots. How is this possible when the ballot papers were not ready or displayed?” questioned actor Udhaya, who is contesting from the Sankaradas Ani camp.

Bhagyaraj, Ishari K. Ganesh and Prashant met the election officer on Sunday and submitted their complaint. Speaking to mediapersons, Mr. Ganesh said the ballot papers for postal votes should have been displayed on the notice board but hadn’t been so far.

He added that they had sought clarification about the election process.
