RPF constables felicitated for their deeds

Two Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel of Southern Railway, who saved the life of passengers, were felicitated in Bengaluru on Tuesday.

Union Minister of State for Railways Suresh Angadi presented the awards to S.V. Jose and Jambulingam of the Chennai Division.

Mr. Jose saved a girl, Anmol Sharma, from falling while boarding a train at the Egmore railway station on June 1.

In a similar incident, Mr. Jambulingam saved a girl while she was trying to board a suburban train on June 9 at the Mambalam railway station.
