A disgruntled party member of the Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam hurled a petrol bomb on his own car outside the party General Secretary T.T.V. Dhinakaran's house at Adyar.
The incident happened past noon. Police said a disgruntled town secretary who was removed from his post by Mr. Dhinakaran arrived at his residence and hurled a petrol bomb on the car.
He was suspected to be carrying a sharp weapon in his suitcase. Police are investigating
