Now, a mobile application for Tirukkural

The Central Institute of Classic Tamil (CICT) has launched a Tirukkural mobile application on both Android and iOS platforms. The mobile app was launched at the Chennai Book fair 2015 on Friday.

The app categorised as per subject has features where the couplets ( kurals ) are displayed in both Tamil and English.

Also, each couplet can be played if users have an internet connection.

M. Rajendran, retired vice-chancellor, Tamil University, Thanjavur, launched the app. Music Director Bharadwaj and M. Muthuvel, registrar, CICT, participated in the function.

The book fair ends on Tuesday (January 21).
