Naalaya India, a non-profit organisation founded with the objective of bringing youngsters together to effect change, was launched here on Thursday during ‘People of Change-2015’, an annual change-makers conference, at the Museum Theatre, Egmore.

The organisation has been launched on former President Dr. A. P.J. Abdul Kalam’s birth anniversary.

The four-day conference saw eminent personalities, including award-winning filmmaker Pravin Mishra, arts editor and teacher of cultural journalism Sadanand Menon and Austria-based architect Martina Spies.

S. Suresh Babu, an architect by profession, and founder of Naalaya India, said, “I launched a Facebook page called ‘Kalam’s Kanavu’ after his death, to share good news and motivate people, especially youngsters, to join hands and work towards achieving Missile Man goals for the nation. The page received a great response.” For more details, visitwww.naalayaindia.org
