The owner of a private diagnostic lab was arrested for allegedly sexually harassing, and threatening one of the patients who came in for an X-Ray.
The 27-year-old patient had come for a shoulder X-Ray to the diagnostic lab in Gummidipoondi owned by Shankar (33) when he allegedly made sexual advances towards her. When she threatened to go to the police, he told her he would release the CCTV footage online. Once she got home, the woman’s husband heard of the incident and filed a complaint with the Gummidipoondy police, and Shankar was arrested and remanded to judicial custody.
