The Income Tax Department continued their searches at G Square Realtors Private Limited, Lotus Ventures and Infrabuild Private Limited and New Saravana Stores Bramandamai.
A senior Income Tax official said searches were still on and they would be able to provide details only when the raids were concluded. I-T Department officials started their search in the firms suspecting huge tax evasion and suppression of income. The real estate firm has reportedly helped big names in the corporate world acquire land in Tamil Nadu for setting up operations.
