Help desk for Sabarimala pilgrims

The Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments (HR &CE) Department has set up information centres, which will function round-the-clock, and a toll-free number for devotees of Lord Ayyappa undertaking pilgrimage to Sabarimala from Tamil Nadu,

The round-the-clock help desk has been set up at the HR & CE Commissioner’s office in Chennai. The toll free number 1800-425-1757 would function from November 16, 2019 to January 31, 2020, an official release stated. Information centres have also been set up at Arulmigu Gowmariamman temple at Veerapandi on Theni-Kumuli Road, the Arulmigu Kutralanathar temple at Kutralam and at the Arulmigu Thirumalaikumarasamy temple at Nerkalanjiyam, it stated.

Useful pointers for the benefit of devotees have been made public with important phone numbers in case of emergency. The official release also advised pilgrims against using plastic and discarding clothes at the Pamba river.
