Gold jewellery stolen from house in Mogappair

About 38 sovereigns of jewellery were reported stolen from a house in Mogappair West on Friday.

According to police sources, Daniel Sudhakar, manager in a private firm, and his wife Anitha Daniel, professor in a private college, had gone to their relative's place on Thursday night following a power disruption in their house in Mogappair West.

When they returned on Friday morning, the gold jewellery kept in an almirah were missing. The accused broke the main door lock to gain entry into the house. A special team of the J.J. Nagar police has been formed to investigate the case.
