Two persons were injured after a minor fire broke out on Wednesday at the Tangedco office on EVK Sampath Salai, opposite the Chennai City Police Commissioner’s Office.
According to the police, on Wednesday morning, around 9.30 a.m., Tangedco staff Suresh and Lawrence spotted that an equipment was on fire. They sustained burns in the incident.
They informed the Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue Services (TNFRS) control room and the situation was brought under control.
The police suspect short circuit to be the cause.
