A 15-year-old pillion rider was killed after the bike he was travelling on hit a median near Injambakkam on Sunday.
Police said Damodaran, a Class 9 student from Villivakkam, was riding pillion and one Vignesh, 19, of Semmanchery, his relative, was driving. When they were near the Vetuvankani bus stop, the two-wheeler hit the median. Damodaran fell and died on the spot, the police said.
Adyar traffic investigation police have registered a case and investigation is on.
