Former director of IIT-M gets award

Professor M.S. Ananth, former director of the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, was conferred with the Lifetime Achievement Award at TiECON Chennai 2019, organised by The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), Chennai.

Arun Jain, chairman and managing director of Intellect Design Arena Limited, was given the Dronacharya Award. The Sustaining Enterprise of the Year Award was given to Go Fashion India Pvt. Ltd and the Scale-Up Enterprise of the Year Award went to Samunnati Financial Intermediation and Services Pvt. Ltd. KritiLabs Technologies Pvt. Ltd received the Startup of the Year Award. TiECON’s Associate Member of the Year was given to Guvi Geek Technologies Pvt. Ltd. C.K. Ranganathan, president, TiE Chennai, said: “As we celebrate the 12th edition, I am certain that TiE Chennai will continue to be a platform for young entrepreneurs to build their career.”
