DLF donates Rs. 50 lakh to Cancer Institute

DLF Foundation, as part of its corporate social responsibility, donated Rs. 50 lakh to Cancer Institute, Adyar, on Sunday.

Ramesh K. Swamy, senior vice-president and head (operations), DLF, presented the cheque to V. Shanta, chairperson of the institute.

Dr. Shanta said that the munificence of corporate houses and generous donors like DLF enabled the institute to keep its good work going and help those in need of help. J.K. Subramaniam, senior executive director of DLF, was also present on the occasion.

DLF Foundation, set up in 2008 by K.P. Singh, chairman of DLF, is the social initiative arm of the construction company that helps communities in the fields of health, education and training.
