Dispel doubts on filing appeal, PMK tells Karnataka

PMK founder S. Ramadoss on Tuesday urged the Karnataka government to dispel the doubts in the minds of the people about its stand on filing an appeal in the Supreme Court against the Karnataka High Court order acquitting Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. In a statement, he also called upon the DMK to file its appeal before the end of summer vacation and appoint a lawyer with special expertise in handling corruption cases.  He said failure on the part of the Karnataka to discuss the issue in the Cabinet meeting had cast doubts in the minds of the people.
