Consulate of Japan in Chennai organises Japanese night

Students from various educational institutions participated in ‘Japanese Night’, an event organised by the Consulate General of Japan in Chennai along with ABK-AOTS Dosokai Tamil Nadu Centre on Saturday.

It was an opportunity for students learning Japanese language to interact with each other and improve their communication skills. Students from several institutions such as SRM University, Soka Ikeda College of Arts and Science for Women and Hayakawa Japanese Lanaguage School and Cultural Centre took part in the event.

The evening started with a session on different forms of origami and art of paper making. Students also performed for Japanese songs and skits.
