Chennai General Post Office now has a passport seva kendra and gets a steady flow of applicants from north Chennai.
On an average, about 40 residents visit the GPO to process their applications for passports. Postal officials have been trained to verify the documents, capture photographs and process the applications.

I’m able to finish work faster and save time. Last time, I had to travel to Aminjikarai for renewing my son’s passport.”
