TVS Recreation Club at Sundaram Motors, Mount Road, organised rangoli and drawing competitions for employees and their families on December 2.

The drawing competition was divided into two levels: children in the age group of five to eight years and 12 to 18 years. Children used colours vividly and brought out various emotions in human life in picture form.

S.N. Seshasai, Joint Commissioner of Police, Chennai Crime Branch, was the judge for the drawing competition.

Importance of women

Addressing the gathering, he highlighted the importance of women adopting safety measures while going to office to prevent chain snatching. He also explained about steps to prevent burglary and thefts at home and protection of aged people. He called upon the young children to serve in the police force.

He also responded to the queries from the audience.

The event was a part of year-long employee engagement programme, consisting of field and track events and skill competitions.

M.V. Ravichandar, Senior General Manager, HR and Legal, welcomed the gathering and detailed the activities of the club. S. Srinivasan, General Manager, HR, felicitated Mr. Seshasai.

Prathaban, president of TVS workers’ union, proposed the vote of thanks.
