RMD Palliative Care Trust, T. Nagar, has recently opened ‘RMD-Gandhi Free Palliative Care Centre’ jointly with Gandhi Foundation in Tiruvallore. Dr. Republica Sridhar, Medical Director, RMD Trust, said that the centre will provide medical care, elderly care, treatment for terminal disease, home care, day care and end of life care.Trained nurses will look after the patients and community health volunteers will examine patients in the village.
