Students of KV (II), Madambakkam, take part in a bicycle rally.

Scouts and Guides of Kendriya Vidyalaya (II), Madambakkam, took part in a bicycle rally on November 7 to create an awareness among residents on measures to prevent the outbreak of dengue fever. As many as 80 scouts took part in the rally that covered a distance of five kilometres. The rally was flagged off by Prasanna Kumari, principal.

Students went around the residential areas of Air Force Campus and Gandhi Nagar in Rajakilpakkam. E. Ananthan of KV (I), Air Force Station, East Tambaram, addressed children. Students carried placards and interacted with the residents.

The event was organised by R. Rajammal, Assistant Learners Trainer (Guides); Padma Balakumar and Savithri, Guide Captains; and Raghubar Ram, Scout Master of the school; according to a press note.
