The Bengaluru police were informed and he was caught during a routine vehicle-check.

On receiving information of his detention, the police rushed to Bengaluru, where he was arrested and brought to the city.

The suspect was identified as Punnakkal Nazir (56) of Bengaluru.

He has criminal cases pending against him in Karnataka.
