A baby girl who fell into a well accidentally and her 45-year-old grandmother, who jumped into the well to save her, were rescued by Fire and Rescue Services personnel in Poonamallee.
The child was not injured as she fell into the well without hitting the motor or the pipes. The grandmother sustained minor injuries on her leg and was treated at the Government Hospital, police said.
