Several commuters of Chennai Metro have been facing trouble in recharging their travel smart card through the mobile app. Everytime they tried to use Chennai Metro’s mobile app, the ‘transaction failed’ message pops up on their screens. Some took to Twitter to talk about this.
One user, vimal gurumoorthy through his handle @vimalgurumorthy posted: “@cmrlofficial Have done recharge through CMRL app. Amount has been debited from the bank but the balance is not updated in card even after using it in ETVM. Kindly look into this asap.”
According to CMRL officials, they have identified the problem and working on it. “Within a few days, this issue will be resolved and we will ensure such problem does not arise again,” an official said.
