Apollo opens new hospital in Vanagaram

Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on Wednesday inaugurated the 12th super specialty hospital of Apollo Hospitals in Vanagaram, Chennai, through videoconferencing facility.

Speaking on the occasion, Apollo Hospitals Group chairman, Prathap C. Reddy, said as a private healthcare provider, Apollo always worked towards raising the benchmark for administering healthcare of global standards by continuously investing in talent, technology and patient care.

Apollo Hospitals managing director, Preetha Reddy, said they were spreading their footprint across tier-II and tier-III locations to serve more people and enable positive clinical outcomes.

In addition to 24x7 emergency and trauma care at Apollo Vanagaram, one can avail of services across 30 specialties including those of cardiology, neurology and neurosurgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, nephrology, ophthalmology, endocrinology, paediatrics and orthopaedics and spine surgery among others, said a press release.
