Academy begins free IAS coaching classes


About 3,000 students from across the country attended the inaugural function of 2015-16 batches to coach for Union Public Service Commission organised by Manidhanaeyam free IAS Academy here on Sunday. Of the 62 candidates coached by the Academy who emerged successful in the Civil Service Examination 2014-15, 17 of them have been selected to join the Indian Administrative Service, a press release said. The Manidhanaeyam Trust was began in 2005 to train socially and economically backward students. It receives candidates from various places every year, the release added.
