A helping hand for the disabled


Lions Club international distributed relief material including blankets, utensils, food packets and other basic amenities to disabled people living in the city and suburbs.

The aid was distributed by Lions district governor Vitto Plackka, in the presence of district chairperson for the welfare of physically challenged K.Gopinath.

The beneficiaries included 50 people with different disabilities.

The distribution of relief materials to the flood affected people was held in the premises of MGR-Janaki Matriculation School, Saligramam, a press release said.
